Order of the Sinking Star Last Two Golden Zones: MxS & MxB

The quick answer

Reach the Mirrors-and-Stones entrance using a sunken landing stone, and locate Mirrors-and-Beamcasters near Reflected Beams.

Identify which gold zone you need

MxS combines Mirrors and Stones, near the water east of Skipping Stones and southeast of Mirror Isles. MxB combines Mirrors and Beamcasters, next to Reflected Beams. They are independent destinations; completing MxS is not a prerequisite for entering MxB.

The coordinates below are world object grid coordinates, with z=0 for the surface. They are not the screen coordinates on the June demo map. Match the nearby objects before moving anything.

MxS: make a landing stone, then mirror across

  1. Approach from the western main land near (92,41) and find the stone initially at (86,40).
  2. Move it along the narrow land strip to (95,52). Stand at (94,52) and push east. It skips over water at x=96–99, hits the wall at (101,52), and sinks at (100,52).
  3. Keep the magical mirror at (100,58). Stand at (106,58) and Activate to land on the sunken stone at (100,52). Make this support before attempting the swap.
  4. Follow the narrow land at x=100–102, y=43–51 toward the small combination-puzzle entrance at (104,45), native name worlds_collide_mirrors_and_stones_v2.
  5. After solving that entrance puzzle, the cage at (100,43) releases another mirror for the later lily-pad route near airmail.

The small entrance at (104,45) is not the center coordinate of the large gold platform. Releasing the second mirror is a later step, not a requirement to make the first crossing.

MxB: locate the Reflected Beams approach

The MxB gold-room puzzle is worlds_collide_alt, at (-15,69,0). Look near Reflected Beams along the surface’s east–west wrap boundary. Follow the green-beam corridor and inspect stones interrupting it.

Do not confuse this destination with Beams Reflected, reached using the purple beam toward N1W5, or Beams, Mirrorably, the later southern area around S4W5. Their additional access conditions do not define the MxB gold-room entrance.

Check the green-beam obstacles

The following stone operations clear the corridor toward the ruby-source room. Check the relevant cages and puzzles before using the listed standing tiles.

Stone Standing position and move
(54,69) Stand at (54,68) and push the stone away from that tile
(52,69) Stand at (53,69), push toward decreasing x, then approach from (51,68) for the next push
(35,69) From (36,69), push to (34,69); move around to (34,70) and push it to (34,68)

The first two positions involve promesst1_streamlined; the cage at (47,69) involves promesst2_streamlined. Keep those ruby-room operations separate from an assumption that they finish every MxB approach.

Farther along, a stone at (19,69) sits immediately east of the blue emitter at (18,69) and can stop the green beam. Check its accessible sides and the beam after an Undo experiment. The corridor positions above do not establish a push direction for this fourth stone; do not automatically push it west.

If a video starts with fast travel

A discovered gold-room destination can be revisited by fast travel. A video arriving at an already lit platform does not show the initial ground approach. Use the nearby world landmarks and entrance name to confirm that you are following the route you need.
