Which golden platform?
The large platform at the Mirrors-and-Stones boundary sits east of Skipping Stones and southeast of Mirror Isles. Look for chain-like marks above it, decorated corners, and a lily-pad loop and fenced mechanism below.
This is different from the gold platform inside the first Skipping Stones lake. For the six treasures in that lake, use the optional treasures route.
Approach the nearby combination entrance
Use a stone to create a landing point, then reach it from the mirror side:
- Move the stone from (86,40) along the land strip to (95,52).
- From (94,52) push east. It hits the wall at (101,52) and sinks at (100,52).
- Keep the mirror at (100,58) and Activate from (106,58) to land on the sunken stone.
- Follow the narrow shore at x=100–102, y=43–51 to the small puzzle entrance at (104,45).
That coordinate identifies the nearby combination entrance, not the middle of the large gold platform. Follow the MxS gold-zone guide for the crossing and the mirror released afterward.
Read the platform’s own requirement
Entering a combination board is different from activating its tower or collecting a later reward. Read the local requirement and check its actual count. Do not use a video title or a player’s early guess of “seven puzzles” as proof that the platform is ready.
