Read the center, color, and size separately
| Feature | Useful interpretation | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Center dot / center appearance | Helps distinguish visited entrances | Compare the center as well as the outer star |
| Gray icon | Can indicate a locked puzzle | Check its unlock conditions and the physical route |
| White / whiter star | Indicates solved progress | Check the puzzle state rather than brightness alone |
| Large star | Associated with puzzles contributing to Antipode tower requirements | Read the tower’s own count to see how much more it needs |
| Other colored stars | Color alone is insufficient for a completion decision | Check visits, solved state, and the relevant tower |
The October 14 update darkened unvisited entrance centers. The October 12 update made solved large stars whiter. Older footage can therefore look different.
Large stars are not a command to solve everything
A tower has its own required count. A large star helps identify relevant progress, but does not mean every large star everywhere must be cleared before you can proceed.
Likewise, a gray icon does not by itself prove there is no physical path to its area. Check cages, signs, and unlock chains separately.
Map tools have their own legends
A third-party viewer may use green, orange, yellow, blue, or purple groups for its own display. Do not use that palette as the game’s official color key. For navigation and layer selection, use the world map guide.
